My Computer

My computer will not load,

It sits there like a lazy toad,

Unmoving and with perfect poise,

Doesn’t even make a noise.

I didn’t mean to make it crash;

On buttons I desperately mash

To find exactly what is wrong,

I should just turn it off and on.

My reflection in the screen

Really is a sorry scene.

Like a kettle I start to boil

And rage at my computer toil.

At last I give a joyful shout,

I’ve managed to figure it out.

It wasn’t a computer, see?

Just my poor unplugged TV.
